THEIR STORY
Vanessa and Thomas were friends, rivals, and neighbors. They clashed at every turn. Vanessa was beautiful and popular and Thomas was gangly with a bad complexion, but from thirteen on he had a huge crush on her. In the romance department she wouldn't give him the time of day. That is until she was seventeen and he was about to leave for Marine Boot Camp. Suddenly the thought of losing Thomas haunts her and she decides to do something special to say goodbye. They meet again on her family's Alaskan cruise. Only this time they are all grown up and neither one wants to play the childish games of the past.
